VMS Foundation releases report on Antibiotic Stewardship in Emergency Departments

At the request of the Vermont Department of Health and with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, the VMS Foundation has released a report titled Antibiotic Stewardship in Emergency Departments.

The goal of the report, which was developed through structured interviews with emergency department personnel in 12 Vermont hospitals and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, was to identify opportunities to assist advancing antibiotic stewardship in the region.
